Rehearsal and Concert dates

Rehearsal and Concert Dates for 2025/6

The first concert of the season will feature Baroque music and will be in St Peter’s Church Little Budworth on Saturday 14th March 2026 at 7pm and repeated on 20th March at 7.45pm for Frodsham Music Society.
Our conductor will be Mark Lansom and the programme will be:

Telemann Ouverture-Suite ‘La Bouffonne’
Vivaldi Symphonia in G RV149
Paganelli Concerto in F for chalumeau with soloist David Stockhill
Gemininani Concerto Grosso Op5/5
CPE Bach Symphony in G Major WQ182
Bach Violin Concerto in E Major with soloist Edward Holmes

The second concert of the season will be on Sunday 14th June at 7pm in The Great Hall, Vale Royal Abbey and conducted by Richard Adamson. The programme is being finalised and is likely to include:

Debussy: Danse sacre et danse profane
Vaughan Williams: Dives and Lazarus
Elgar: Sospiri
Grieg: Death of Ase and Anita’s Dance from Peer Gynt
Vaughan Williams: Greensleeves
Herrmann: Psycho Suite
